QUEERHISTORYMONTH

QueerHistoryMonth will take place in Hamburg from May 1 to 31, 2026(www.queerhistoryhamburg.de). Various events as part of the festival will bring the history(ies) of the queer community in Hamburg to life. Everyone is welcome - kings, queers, queens, allies, friends, families (of choice) and everyone in between and beyond!

The event

A queer memorial gala with contributions from queer artists whose voices the Nazis wanted to silence.

Queer history shines: Celebrating queer joy, community and the creative power that sustains our history. On this evening, we give space to voices that the Nazis wanted to silence. In this gala, we celebrate queer visibility and queer resistance with contributions from Liddy Bacroff, Ovida Delect and other artists. An evening for all queers and their allies.
