With 'When The Night Comes', Roller Derby present their debut album - a work that radiates and floats, that draws its strength from gentleness and depth. Moses Schneider's production lends the songs an international, yet DIY-like charm. A melancholy, dreamy atmosphere unfolds in the tracks, reminiscent of the best moments of Alvvays, Beach House or Mazzy Star. The music always remains multi-faceted - sometimes gracefully floating, sometimes driving and direct.
