Schutzwesen. Superkräfte der Natur

In the organizer's words:

The immersive panorama by artist Yorleny Cardozo Peña vividly illustrates the flora and fauna in the Colombian mountain range as well as millennia-old guardian figures. In an artistic laboratory, the pupils explore the superpowers of animals, observe insects and plants with digital microscopes, learn about the vital importance of biodiversity and design their own three-dimensional guardian creature.

The workshop was created as part of a collaboration between the Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e Historia (ICANH) and CoMuse, the collaborative museum at the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst in Berlin. It aims to empower children to discover their own "superpowers" so that they do not feel powerless in the face of climate change and species extinction.
