Singen für Alle • Open Air Edition

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen invites you to the open-air edition of Singen für Alle on the Schwaneninsel. It starts at 7:30 pm, admission from 7 pm. The pop-up choir experience with the motto "From the throat for the soul" will be led by Patrick Bopp and is aimed at anyone who would like to sing together - with or without choir experience. The event will take place outdoors; in the event of thunderstorms or heavy rain, it will be moved to the Schwanensaal.

Singing for All is not a choir evening in the traditional sense. It is not about perfection, auditions or fixed vocal ranges, but about singing together as an experience. People with a lot of singing experience meet people who usually only sing in the car, in the kitchen or not at all. This is precisely the appeal of this format: it creates an open space in which voices come together, inhibitions are reduced and a singing community is created from many individuals for one evening.

The evening will be led by Patrick Bopp, who has been demonstrating for years with "Aus voller Kehle für die Seele" how direct, easy and unifying singing together can be. Songs are sung by, with and about people for people - across styles and decades, from pop to rock to songs that many have had somewhere in their heads for a long time. No knowledge of sheet music is required, and neither are song sheets: the lyrics are projected, everyone joins in and then it's on.

The open-air edition on the Schwaneninsel has a relaxed setting with mainly standing room. A contingent of seats is reserved for people who cannot or do not want to stand for long. The Schwanen Open Airs have free seating and no admission control. The principle is personal responsibility: anyone who wants to be there buys a ticket in advance or at the Box Office and becomes part of an evening that focuses less on separation and more on joining in, singing along and sharing the experience.
