Since 2023, sosocamo has been presenting his melodic version of southern rap with his own productions and catchy pop influences. From the underground in North Carolina, he built a career with emotional diversity and versatile vocal experimentation on his debut album"no service" , which recently took him on a US headline tour and laid the foundation for his next work "Big Country". With the two lead singles "200" and "say dat" having already set the tone for his new album 2025, sosocamo promises an even broader sound to his ever-evolving artistic identity with his latest single "run it". The album, which will be released in 2026, will take the 22-year-old to Cologne and Berlin on his accompanying The Big Country Tour in May.

With few neighbors and limited cell phone reception, sosocamo grew up in a musical household in rural North Carolina. In addition to being a member of the church choir, it was gospel and southern rap that shaped his melodic sensibility alongside artists such as Future, Young Thug, Kendrick Lamar and Justin Bieber during his childhood. Through his father, he also developed an early interest in music production and recording and began writing his own music at the age of 14. Barely out of high school, he recorded himself, produced for his friends and collected a number of ideas and song snippets. At 19, sosocamo met producer Grayto, who not only became his girlfriend, but also introduced him to underground rap artists such as Yeat, Ken Carson, OsamaSon and PartyNextDoor. With these influences, he created his debut EP "SCREENS" in his parents' basement in 2023. It was also there that he produced his debut album "no service", released in 2024, on whose 13 tracks sosocamo explored North Carolina rap in depth, having already celebrated his first hit singles with "keep steady" and "soulless". The release of the work also brought about a switch: sleepless nights in his home studio, which he constantly upgraded with the money he had earned so far, turned into a professional career. For the first time, sosocamo went into professional studios, where he worked with producers such as Synthetic, Taz Taylor, Bakkwoods and Rio Leyva. This resulted in his second album "Big Country", which shapes his sound in a more energetic and versatile direction than ever before.
