Poetic, witty, politically topical and musically at the height of her creative powers, Suli's music flies the whole family into space and back. From rock to folk, swing and samba to reggae. She is the heroine of children in elementary school, the favorite songwriter of committed parents and the woman who met Princess Lilifee. The only front woman of a rock band in the German-speaking children's song scene sings loudly: "I've had enough of pink!"

The heartbeat of every band is the bass, and Maike plays it in the band. Without her, the band would not exist in this form and with this sound. It's not just her bass that breathes life into the band, but also her cheerful and diverse way of life. Maike and Suli met in 2008 and Maike immediately said: "Children's music? I'm in!" Since then, they have been happily rocking all the stages in German-speaking countries. Maike is on the road in many styles, from Latin, swing, jazz, rock to pop, she also accompanies musical productions and supports as a band coach.

Freelance guitarist, author and teacher

Whether it's a solo or the right sound, Mathias has the answer to all questions about electric guitar and has been playing enthusiastically with the Kapelle der guten Hoffnung for many years. Whether musical or theater production, lessons for future guitarists or working the strings with nimble fingers on any stage, Mathias lives rock'n roll and shows kids how hot a cool electric guitar can be.

Hannes Dullinger

drummer

Also known as Sgt. Pepper, Hannes was the first drummer of the Kapelle der guten Hoffnung and he also produced both of the band's albums. His special punch, his feeling and his experience have had a decisive influence on the band's sound. He is the only drummer who sometimes stands up, comes to the front, gives the audience instructions or tells a joke. He also comes from Austria, just like Suli, and when the two of them are together, they sometimes speak dialect.

Sebastian Müller

Drummer

Sebastian is the drummer who provides the band's live concerts with peppery beats. He comes from a village where everyone played in the brass band, including him, but not on the brass but on the drums. From there he moved to Los Angeles, where he completed his studies, and then came to Berlin. He drums enthusiastically in all styles and is in great demand, but is number one in the Kapelle der guten Hoffnung.

Judith Rummel

bass player

Ms. Judith is an electric and double bass player, she loves making music with different people and communicating through instruments. Whether steady groove or free improvisation, Judith's rhythm section rocks. She has been working as a freelance musician since 2010 and enjoys touring a lot at home and abroad, especially with the Kapelle der guten Hoffnung!
