The SwingING. Bigband presents a concert program that revives the sound and atmosphere of the great swing orchestras. The focus is on compositions and arrangements by Duke Ellington and his close musical companions Billy Strayhorn, Count Basie and others, whose works are still considered milestones in big band literature today.
The concert is aimed at all those who appreciate the musical quality and elegance of the swing era and want to experience the music in an authentic sound setting.
