In the organizer's words:

"MoreValue" is the motto of this year's Open Monument Day in Berlin. The Akademie der Künste has been located on Pariser Platz since 1907 - with one interruption. The historic parts of the building are among the few fragments of space on the square that date from before 1945. They were carefully integrated into the new Academy building from 2005 and, like the picture cellar, which has been open to the public since 2018, are listed buildings. The guided tours provide insights into these places worth preserving.
