The SOULCATS play soul classics to take off. Music by Amy Winehouse, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder ... no cool soul hit is safe from Cologne's all-star funk & soul band. With their 9-piece line-up, they delight their audience with their inimitable joy of playing, fat beats, funky horns and exquisite vocals. If you love hand-played instruments and a fine retro-soul sound, you've come to the right place. They take the impertinence of funk and soul, combine it with the freedom of jazz and make it their very own thing, far removed from the shallows of the usual tribute and cover bands.
