On the banks of Holzmarkt 25, the first Sunday morning of the month is constantly being renegotiated: At the Funky Breakfast Market, breakfast becomes an extraordinary state of being: the night lingers on, the morning is already dancing. Between croissant and dosa, coffee and mimosa, club culture meets the smell of coffee. In pyjamas, in yesterday's glitter or ready for the next round. Here you can eat whatever suits you, and maybe even dance.

Breakfast around the world, with a view of the Spree, with friends, children, hangovers and confetti on your mind.

Come by. Here, the morning is not a fragile affair to be treated with care, it is an event to be celebrated.

Anyone thinking of quietly clinking coffee cups, discreet croissants and neatly ironed morning faces has done the math without the previous night, which is known to have one foot on the dance floor even when half asleep: coffee becomes a warm-up, mimosa becomes a matter of course, and somewhere between Spreeblick and Egg Benedict Station, someone starts dancing as if the night had never taken a break. A very lively ritual typical of the Holzmarkt for all those who know that Sunday mornings in Berlin rarely start where others expect them to.
