Light-footed and freshly coiffed, there's no mistaking Udo West when they're on stage together. The mix of pop and funk with German lyrics somehow places the band in the New German Wave sound. The lyrics, sometimes soulful and sometimes ironic, deal with the highs and lows of everyday life and take the listener on a journey through the band's minds. Get ready for fat drums, synth sounds and a lot of energy on stage.

BUBE is an indie band from Leipzig/Berlin with influences from funk, disco and surf. The four-piece band formed in 2020 shortly before the coronavirus lockdown. Since then, they have released two EPs and an album and played countless live concerts and tours in Germany and Austria. Their style is characterized by driving grooves, polyphonic vocals and 70s flair. Since their formation, the band has built up a loyal and colorful fan base through their live concerts.
