Unicorn Partisans from Leipzig and Murmansk deliver an electrifying live set somewhere between electro-punk, dark wave and techno-crust. Hard beats, playful melodies, distorted guitar riffs bubble out of various boxes and knobs with the spirit of punk.
Multilingual vocals that change style again and again in a refreshing and unexpected way: growling, speaking, screaming... with a good dose of poetic humor, irony and (self-) criticism.
The lyrics tell of loss and upheaval, of identities, of anger and hope - interwoven with beats that drone like memories and sound like new beginnings.
Their music dances on the fault lines of society - uncomfortable and touching - an echo of lived experience that questions boundaries instead of marking them.
