The lyrics of Berlin singer-songwriter Felix Meyer venerate the tenderness of the moment and love, and long for more courage to change and to move towards revolutionary new paths and ideas. The current album "später noch immer" puts its finger in the wounds of the present day and bows with humility to the circumstances that have led to us, of all people, being able to lead this life.

A resourceful journalist once called it "documentary pop music" in the band's early days. But the precise observations of the storyteller, who once started his career as a street musician on European crossroads and squares, are accompanied by a good dose of serenity, lightness and a good deal of happiness and contentment. Gerhard Schöne is one of the very few of the once proud and large group of East German and multiple award-winning singer-songwriters whose productivity and popularity have remained unbroken since 1990. He is enthusiastic about specific topics, delves deep into them, searches for points of contact in the breadth and areas of friction in the detail and then lets his narrative gift, which is hardly comparable in this country, flow into lyrics and songs. Schöne is a master of quiet tones who lives his words. He is - what he really lacks - a star.

With her five albums and numerous awards (including the Panikpreis 2016, Kleinkunstpreis Baden Württemberg 2017 & Lessing Preis des Freistaates Sachsen 2023),Sarah Lesch is one of the most important protagonists of the new German singer-songwriter scene. With her song "Testament", which she originally wrote for her son and against the brutalization of society, she won the protest song contest in Vienna in 2016. The video reaches over 1.5 million views on YouTube.
