In the two-part lecture, beekeeper Stefan Zellmer (Imkerverein Dortmund Kurl e.V.) will give you first-hand information about beekeeping in your own garden. Afterwards, Uwe König (training officer of the regional association of Westphalian and Lippe beekeepers) will report on the continuing spread of the Asian hornet, how it can be recognized and where it prefers to build its nests.

The lecture is part of the special exhibition "Industrial Insects. In an unknown land".
