Culture on the phone: Telephone guidance

Culture from home! During the telephone tour, participants are guided live through the permanent exhibition of the Watersports Museum Grünau. A cultural mediator describes the contents and answers questions. All you need to take part is a telephone.

Women fought for participation in all areas of society - including rowing, sailing and paddling. We can now look back on over 100 years of female water sports. In the telephone tour, the participants look at the role of women in water sports. What were the beginnings like? What resistance did women encounter and what freedoms did they fight for? And how did these emancipatory efforts shape the history of water sports? The tour also looks to the present day: how emancipated is water sports today?

The telephone tour is aimed at people aged 15 and over.
