Workshop „Crafting Puppetry Films“ mit dem Emmy-nominierten Filmemacher Alex U. Griffin

In the organizer's words:

This 8-hour intensive workshop invites participants into the practical world of puppet filmmaking. From analyzing puppet performance on screen to exploring visual style and storytelling, participants will acquire fundamental skills for creating their own short puppet films. Through a combination of lectures, practical camera exercises and collaborative production, a 30-second to one-minute puppet film will be created at the end of the course and shot as a group. Perfect for artists, educators and curious creatives of all ages!

As part of the workshop, students will:
- Understand the most important aspects of puppetry in front of the camera.
- get to know basic film concepts such as image design, lighting and composition.
- receive an introduction to production planning.
- shoot (and, if possible, edit) a short puppet film together.
