YėY - an invitation to a journey on dancing beats at sunrise. Sometimes their fluid sound invites you to dream, like a windless evening by the sea; sometimes the music drives you forward with pulsating rhythms, like the heart of a vibrating city at night. YÉY - this is organic oriental deep house, between grooving electronic beats, organic instruments and Mediterranean and oriental timbres, music is created that captivates, absorbingly carries the moment. Every song, every melody is imbued with an unmistakable groove, danceable, emotional and surprising. YėY is also the story of an inspiring encounter between musical worlds and languages: When producer and singer David König saw a concert by Istanbul-born e-bağlama player Uğur Köse in early 2017 and they found each other across language barriers at the term "techno", it was the birth of a synthesis of traditional sounds and urban electronic sounds. YėY stands for courage, openness to the world and the unshakeable urge to try something new, so that something inside shines, pulsates and celebrates liveliness.
