YOUNG REBEL SET

In the organizer's words:

YOUNG REBEL SET are still considered a real indie rock phenomenon today. Formed by seven friends in their early 20s in Stockton-on-Tees, their first song "If I Was" quickly attracted attention and brought the band to Germany for the first time via Grand Hotel van Cleef. With intensive live shows, the EP release in 2010 and the acclaimed debut album "Curse Our Love" (2011), their fan base grew rapidly. The second album "Crocodile" followed in 2013, before the band took a break in 2015.

After the tragic death of singer Matty Chipchase in 2019, the story seemed to be over - until an emotional tribute concert in 2024 rekindled the fire. YOUNG REBEL SET returned in 2025 with a new EP "Sun" and a sold-out European tour. With Tom Blackwell on vocals, the band's magic remains alive. In May 2026, YOUNG REBEL SET will return to Germany for concerts.
