In Jürgen Wiebicke's book of the same name, "Seven Herrings" describes a key scene in his last conversations with his terminally ill mother.
"Meine Mutter, das Schweigen der Kriegskinder und das Sprechen vor dem Sterben" is the subtitle of the book from which the author will read and speak this evening.

The cello duo "Violoncello à deux" condenses and deepens the episodes read with carefully selected pieces of music by J.S. Bach, Astor Piazzolla, David Floer, Harriet Steinke, Reinhold Glière, Alfredo Piatti, etc. Sieben Heringe promises a special, poetic evening.
