Not everyone is able to understand every piece of information equally well. Some texts present a major hurdle for many people. Easy Read, the English version of plain language, was created in 1974 to enable them to participate more. Since the end of the 1990s, it has also become increasingly established in Germany - around 17 million people benefit from it. It is not just about official communication. Literature is also being made accessible. Now Anti-gone.Sophocles has been published in plain language, the famous tragedy about reasons of state and rebellion. Anne Leichtfuß has translated the text for a performance at the Münchner Kammerspiele in collaboration with the ensemble.
