Mieke Murkes, a queer Korean adoptee, grew up in the Netherlands. As an adult, she returns to South Korea and meets her Korean parents and sisters. Is it possible to become a family after so many years? A vision of past circumstances and the social policies that have shaped the lives of hundreds of thousands of South Korean families emerges.
