Bernd Gieseking: »Finne dein Glück«

Bernd Gieseking presents his crazy travel adventures from Finland, the funniest dialogs, curious peculiarities, the most amazing facts and sweat-inducing sauna experiences, but also his first ice bath in Kemijoki in Rovaniemi. Gieseking travels every year, from Helsinki to Inari, from Lahti to Lapland to Mökkis and mosquitoes, to sauna and Salmiakki, to Finnish tango, hobby horsing and the magical Moomins.

The "Finland Whisperer" mixes all this furiously into a celebration of narrative cabaret. Entertaining, amazing, ludicrous and charmingly private - and Bernd always finds surprising "East Westphalian references" even in Finland. There will also be delicious korvapuusti and coffee, so come along!

Bernd Gieseking is a cabaret artist, author, East Westphalian and has been on stage for over 20 years. In addition to Finne dein Glück,he haswritten numerous other books, including Finne dich selbst!, Das kuriose Finnland-Buch and Das kuriose Ostwestfalen Buch.

The event is being held in cooperation with the German-Finnish Society of Lower Saxony.
