The Neue Hofkapelle Osnabrück, which celebrated its triumphant debut in Brühl in 2022, has earned a reputation as one of the leading original sound ensembles in just a few years. They illuminate orchestral works from the 17th and 18th centuries in the most radiant timbres, and in this program they lure us across the Alps to the former trumpet center of Bologna. It was here that Petronio Franceschini wrote his wonderfully festive sonata for two trumpets, probably for the then devil trumpeter Giovanni Pelegrino Brandi. In this baroque showpiece, the two soloists Moritz Görg and Rudolf Lörinc perform with similar virtuosity as in Telemann's "Overture" and a Vivaldi concerto for two trumpets. In between, you can return to the legendary Leipzig "Zimmermannische Caffee-Hauß", where you can enjoy a harpsichord concerto by Johann Sebastian Bach.
