What do writers actually dream about? The Dreamboat reading series is dedicated to this question - literally. Three authors read from their personal dream diaries or from dreams that have become text and provide insights into the most intimate abysses and messages of their - and the collective - subconscious. Idea and organization: Maik Gerecke.

Sofie Lichtenstein studied linguistics, gender studies, German as a second language and interdisciplinary anti-Semitism research. In 2023, she published her debut novel "Bügeln. Protocols about sexual acts." Her second novel is published by Rohstoff, Matthes & Seitz.

Slavica Klimkowsky was born in Croatia and lives, dreams and works as a freelance writer, literary mediator and lecturer in creative writing in Berlin. She has received numerous awards for her literature in simple language as well as her short prose and poetry, and her texts deal with the complexity of human characters and life paths.
Slavica Klimkowsky enjoys working with international colleagues on projects that bring together different languages and cultures.

Alexander Graeff is a writer, philosopher and literary mediator. He writes poetry, prose and biographical-philosophical essays - and likes to mix genres. He is head of the literature program at the Berlin art and culture center Brotfabrik and initiator of the reading series "Schreiben gegen die Norm(en)?". In the Queer Media Society, he campaigns for more visibility for queer people and material in the German-language literary scene. He lives in Berlin.
His latest publications are the poetry collection "Deine Revolution für Ungenauigkeit hat Zukunftswert" (Verlagshaus Berlin, 2025) and the essay "Das Spektrum erweitern" (Querverlag, 2025).

Maik Gerecke (moderator) is not only a book author, columnist and a rather clichéd jazz musician, he also loves dreaming in all its facets, which is why he created and organized the reading series "Das Traumschiff" in 2026. Last year, he even completed a novel about dreams and how people can connect through them.
