Public guided tour - The two well-heeled citizens Katharina Schneeweißerin and Margaretha Pfefferer take one last tour of their town together. In 1559, Katharina, the widow of a rich salt merchant, leaves the town for love. It is with a heavy heart, as she has found a good friend in the wife of the Gelnhausen pepper merchant, whom she is very reluctant to leave behind.
