Public themed tour incl. 1 glass of sparkling wine - The guided tour on the occasion of Mother's Day sheds light on the everyday and working lives of women through the ages. The origins of Mother's Day can be traced back to ancient Greece. Beginning in the USA in 1941, it has established itself internationally.

The example of Gelnhausen shows how women in the high and late Middle Ages were given new scope by being able to work in trade and commerce. However, it was not until the middle of the 20th century that women and men were legally equal. Stroll through the various centuries of women's (working) life in Gelnhausen with tour guide Ms. Naumann.
