FC-Frauen: Highlightspiel im RheinEnergieSTADION

The FC women take to the big stage again. On Saturday, May 2, 2026, the Kölsche Mädche will welcome SV Werder Bremen to the RheinEnergieSTADION. Kick-off is at 1 pm. The Bundesliga match will once again be embedded in a big soccer festival for families and fans. Tickets are now available at FC.de

FC Managing Director Philipp Liesenfeld says: "We are very much looking forward to our Kölsche Mädche playing at the RheinEnergieSTADION for the fourth time. You can rely on the people of Cologne - that's why we're looking forward to them supporting the FC women in the stadium in large numbers once again and making the fourth highlight match an unforgettable experience for the players and all the fans in the stadium."

Nicole Bender-Rummler, Head of Women's Football & FC Academy Female, says: "The previous highlight matches were real soccer festivals. We want to build on this and once again ensure a special experience on and off the pitch. Both teams are in top form, and our team will do everything in its power to make the stadium roar and give our fans a reason to cheer. Goosebumps are guaranteed from the first to the last minute."

The FC women have shown courageous and attractive soccer this season. With 24 points, they already set a record in FC history on matchday 15. Never before have the FC women scored so many points in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga - and they still have a lot to do.

At the FC women's highlight match premiere at the RheinEnergieSTADION in 2023, 38,365 fans flocked to the game against Eintracht Frankfurt, setting a record attendance in the women's Bundesliga at the time. A year later, 30,123 soccer fans attended the 2:1 home win against Werder Bremen and 35,711 visitors also created an unforgettable atmosphere in the stadium against FC Bayern Munich. The sequel and thus the fourth edition of the highlight match will follow on May 2.

Tickets from five euros available now

Tickets are now available in the online ticket store of 1. FC Köln. Tickets are available in six price categories ranging from seven euros in the standing area (concessions five euros) to 25 euros in the best seating category. A VIP experience is available for 141.61 euros for a business seat and 153.51 euros for a box seat.
