The women of 1. FC Köln will take to the big stage at the RheinEnergieSTADION on May 2 and have announced a musical sensation for the highlight match: Singer and songwriter Max Mutzke will perform in the supporting program for the FC women's match against SV Werder Bremen.

Max Mutzke already knows the big stages very well thanks to his impressive career. The singer and songwriter's career really took off in 2004 with the number 1 hit "Can't Wait Until Tonight". He came eighth in the Eurovision Song Contest with this catchy tune. Prior to this, he had already won Stefan Raab's casting show "SSDSGPS" on TV Total and reached number one in the German charts.

Since then, Mutzke has been delighting his fans with his unmistakable, soulful-soft voice in various musical facets such as pop, rock, soul, funk and jazz. Max Mutzke has now released nine studio albums and two live albums; his latest album is entitled "XX". The singer has already proven his versatility in musical collaborations with various artists and jazz greats such as Klaus Doldinger, Wolfgang Haffner and Bill Evans. Last year, Max Mutzke released the song "Bitte lass das Licht an" together with Stefan Raab for the movie "Das Kanu des Manitu".

The charismatic singer, who was born in the Black Forest, now calls Cologne his second home. The performance at the RheinEnergieSTADION on May 2 will therefore also be very special for him - and FC fans can look forward to a real musical highlight in the supporting program before the Bundesliga match.
