Program

A subtle change in light, in breath, in sound - and suddenly everything appears in a different light. immer aber anders takes this moment of transition as its starting point and combines the opposites that characterize our lives: Beginning and end, departure and farewell, darkness and lighting up. Inspired by the Janus head, which looks back and forward at the same time, madrigals and motets from the Renaissance meet the tonal language of the present. Based on Hildegard von Bingen's O vis eternitatis, two voices and a variety of flutes create the luminous soundscapes of the evening.

immer aber anders invites you to listen to what is familiar and at the same time always new - an evening about what always returns - and yet is constantly changing.

During the event, the room will be darkened and a fog machine will be used. We ask people with corresponding sensitivities to take this into account.

Regardless of whether you have any contact with classical music or not:
Our KonzertLABs deliver exciting concert designs, new perspectives on classical music and space for exchange and experimentation.

Our musicians have developed and tested concepts in a residency phase at SAAL and are now bringing them back to our festival from April 21 - 24.

Participants

The concerts in the series will be developed by the musicians of the TONALi Stage Academy in collaboration with young people from the TONALi CREW, residents from the Kunstschutzgebiet and other participants.
