BUNT is an instrumental jazz ensemble with musicians from Cologne and Osnabrück. The music is created from original compositions and rethought jazz standards and moves between traditional formal language and a contemporary understanding of jazz.
The focus is on interplay: open forms, energetic improvisations and a transparent, modern band sound. Groove, timbre and spontaneity are just as important as melody and structure. BUNT's music develops in the moment - direct, lively and with a clear attitude.
