Klara Lidén and friends

An evening at KW's Pogo Bar with a live concert and a reading with Klara Lidén's long-time collaborators Emily Sundblad and Karl Holmqvist.

Emily Sundblad moves fluidly between pop, punk and folk traditions and combines classical song structures with contemporary sounds in an experimental way. The New York-based artist, gallery owner, painter and musician works in the fields of visual art, performance and sound, often blurring the boundaries between identities, roles and systems within the art world. Sundblad has collaborated with others on the soundtrack for several of Lidén's video works.

Karl Holmqvist works with language as an author, performer and installation artist. He often composes his texts from found material such as pop song lyrics, slogans and literary quotations. In his readings, he focuses on the physicality of voice and language through repetition, rhythm and variation. Holmqvist lives in Berlin and has exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale and Performa in New York.
