Rasha Nahas

As a cross-genre, narrative artist, Rasha Nahas has created her own musical universe - grown in the underground and still connected to it today in terms of attitude and aesthetics. The Berlin-based Palestinian singer from Haifa is a composer, actress and multi-instrumentalist. Her sound combines raw electronic rock, poetic condensation and trans-traditional influences, moving effortlessly between Arabic and English.

Her debut album "Desert" (2021) tells a story of migration, identity and inner repositioning. With the acclaimed two-part work "Amrat" (2023), recorded in the occupied Golan Heights and released on the British label Cooking Vinyl, her path led her from international festival stages such as Glastonbury to the Columbiahalle in Berlin and on tours across five continents.

2026 marks a new chapter: Their upcoming album, produced by Meshell Ndegeocello, is their most ambitious project to date and brings together a top-class line-up of musicians*. Accompanied by an international tour, Nahas is in a powerful new phase - confident and determined to push her sonic boundaries further. In addition to her work as a musician, Nahas also composes for film, theater and dance and has received the Bertha Foundation's Artivism Award.

This new era will kick off with a special headline show at HAU Hebbel am Ufer: with a new single and an intense live set, she will give exclusive insights into previously unreleased songs before the official album release in October. Known for her magnetic stage presence and uncompromising sound aesthetics, Nahas creates an evening that is as intimate as it is electrifying.
