Rio de Janeiro-born troubadour, guitarist and songwriter Leo Middea has been writing music for as long as he can remember. His love of Brazil, the music, the flavors, the energy and the contrasts of the country are reflected in his songs. His lyrics are a tribute to the Brazilian people, the culture and the life of a musician on the road.
His latest work, "Sulamérica", is a beautiful pop song with Afro-Brazilian influences, partly inspired by Brazilian street markets. After years of writing about his everyday experiences in Europe, Leo realized that he missed the connection to Brazil and South America. "Sulamérica" is therefore a tribute to his roots: drums, rhythm, carnival, kisses - everything that inspires and pulsates in South America.
