Zen Garden

After last year's acclaimed concert, the Max Treutner Quartet returns to the Cave 61 jazz club and once again takes the audience into its cosmos of sound. The focus will be on their debut album Zen Garden - awarded the title Album-Tipp Jazz by SWR Kultur and praised by the Goethe-Institut in its jazz series as a "remarkably mature debut". In a lyrical, modern sound language with a touch of cool jazz, the quartet creates musical landscapes full of inner serenity and depth.

The band presents not only the sound-painting pieces from the album, but also brand new compositions written especially for the 2026 concerts. An evening full of subtle improvisations and subtle grooves awaits the audience - sometimes floating and dreamy, sometimes energetically pulsating, always in an exciting dialog between the instruments.
