Hey ho you little stars and window panes watch out: the wild guys are back and want to enjoy their hard-earned summer vacation to the fullest! But house arrest, parents and their arch-enemies, the "Invincible Victors", throw a spanner in the works and even take over the football pitch. Under Leon's leadership, the boys train harder than ever to win everything back in the decisive game. Die wilden Kerle is not only the first feature film by children's book author Joachim Masannek, for many people the film series is one of their first ever cinema experiences. In the first part, it is still easy to indulge in 2000s nostalgia. Unfortunately, it wasn't just Rufus Beck as Willi who was lost over the course of the films. Somehow, the sweet kicking became a German Twilight. But the motto remains: It's all good as long as you're wild!
