In AMAZZONI, Silvia Gribaudi takes up the ancient Greek myth of the Amazons - those legendary female warriors known as a threat to the patriarchal order. From this, she has developed a play about the body, power and community that consciously interweaves strength and humor.

Silvia Gribaudi is one of Italy's most prominent choreographers and is known for her precise, humorous work. Through exaggeration, disruption and self-irony, she exposes social attributions and opens up new perspectives. In AMAZZONI, five female performers move between strength and vulnerability and defy clear role models. Following her piece R. OSA at fabrik Potsdam in March 2026, Gribaudi returns with a work that opens up new perspectives on history, gender and social order.
