Potsdamer Tanztage 2026 – Le Margherite / Festialeröffnung

In the organizer's words:

"You love me, you love me not..." Anyone who consults the oracle of a daisy leaves their fate to an innocent coincidence. Le Margherite takes up precisely this playful coincidence and, between disguises and transformations, presents a sensitive ode to the ephemeral.

The experience of chance as a source of joy and fun comes first. Five dancers accompanied by a musician unfold a firework of moving ideas and choreographic games on a linguistic, musical and physical level, from which they disappear again and again to reappear in surprising forms. Chance becomes intensity and a poetry of the creative moment develops before the eyes of the audience - an attempt to outwit finiteness.
