POWERPLANT:

Powerplant has evolved from a bedroom project into an internationally touring synth-punk band. Based in London, they are characterized by a mixture of hopeful and gloomy moods, goblin-like vocal melodies, howling synths, nervous bass and stoic drum machines.

With their debut album "People in the Sun" (2019), created entirely by band leader Theo Zhykharyev, Powerplant achieved great online fame. The unusual basslines, distorted synths and emotional lyrics earned them placements on Pitchfork and Bandcamp lists as well as recognition from Iggy Pop and Henry Rollins.

For live shows, Zhykharyev assembled a band from London's underground, including Karim Newble (Hitmen), Lloyd Clipston and Cajm, and together they toured relentlessly across the US, Europe, UK and Scandinavia, playing festivals such as End of The Road, Outbreak and Fluff Fest and sharing stages with OSees, Show Me The Body, Hotline TNT and Ovlov.

Powerplant remains versatile: from early lo-fi recordings to the 2019 synth-punk album, the dungeon synth project "Stump Soup" (2022) and the experimental "Grass" EP (2023). With "Crashing Cars" and the "Heat" EP (2025), the band makes a powerful comeback on their own label Arcane Dynamics. Each release brings new sound mutations - always different, but unmistakably Powerplant.

HITMEN:

At the heart of London's often predictable music scene, HITMEN operate from the shadows - formed from the remnants of Island Of Love. Led by Karim Newble, the band don't just perform: they execute rock'n'roll with raw precision, unleashing sweaty, liberating energy that wins over even the skeptics.

HITMEN resolutely contradict the call that "rock is dead". For them, rock is alive - it just needed new enforcers. Their sound blends the swagger of classic rock, the fury of punk and the raw directness of garage rock into a modern, urgent punch.

The debut EP "Rock To Forget" (2024) is their powerful statement: music as a weapon against the mundane, a short, explosive burst of distortion and volume.

Live, HITMEN show their true nature: the stage becomes a shared, electrifying space in which band and audience merge. They don't play their songs - they let them explode.
