Season of the Switch

In the organizer's words:

With three international trainer couples and a six-piece jazz band, the Boogie-Bären e.V. are organizing a Lindy Hop Switch Festival in Munich for the first time this September.

Lindy Hop? A swinging, jazzy dance of the black American community from the 30s to 40s - popular worldwide today!

Switch? The man leads, the woman follows - that was yesterday! Switching while dancing means leading or following flexibly and even changing roles during a dance.

Important: For the lessons (Sat & Sun) it is required that you have the basics of Lindy Hop in both dance roles. Don't have it yet? There's still time until September - just come to the Boogie Bears training and we'll get you ready!
