Nikola Pešić, a Serbian pianist and composer living in Switzerland, presents a selection of neoclassical piano works from his highly acclaimed album SKIES (CD/vinyl) as well as new, unpublished compositions as part of his SKIES Tour. He combines classical heritage with a modern, minimalist sound language and subtle pop and jazz influences. His music tells of memory, hope and the quiet poetry of everyday life. With clarity, warmth and an almost hypnotic stage presence, he creates concert experiences full of cinematic atmosphere, emotion and virtuosity that touch and connect.
