Tommy and The Teleboys & Go Mahhh

In the organizer's words:

TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS

Psychedelic Death Boogie

In the shadow of the central German provincial record buildings between Halle and Berlin, a young quartet creates loud, sweaty psychedelic fuzz rock, sometimes garnished with a sugar-sweet West Coast melody, sometimes with a noise crowbar: TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS are a band that brings styles together, emulates role models and yet has its own sound that sounds different - here, garage rock is fed with psychedelia, post-punk, krautrock or electronica are tried out.

An upbeat rhythm section, feverishly shimmering guitars and driving synths prevent any stagnation. Danceable, groovy, wild and full of melodies. Then relaxed and floating again. With the self-issued license to let their sound fly in all possible directions, a wild mixture comes together against rigid genre boundaries and unites in a homogeneous debut album - fresh and contemporary with a touch of retro. Independent, playful and different. Outstanding.

They sing "Give me", but they give themselves. EVERYTHING. ALWAYS. Especially at their shows - our friends from King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Slift, Osees, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Idles can look forward to:

TONITE, in person: TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS w/ GO MAHHH in Dortmund, LIVE at subrosa...downstairs, at the harbor!

GO MAHHH

Psychedelic Rock

With energetic, intense live shows, the international Berlin-based band has established a firm place for itself in the local psych-rock scene: GO MAHHH have already shared the stage with Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Minami Deutsch and The Warlocks, among others; they have also performed at festivals such as Desertfest Berlin, MW:M Berlin and VOID Fest.

The quartet with Irish, Chilean & German roots offers a genre-busting form of psychedelic rock: full of fuzz, lots of echo, even more reverb, but above all with a good groove and danceable rhythms. Here and there, oriental melodies hover over the powerful riffs, as well as unpredictable freakouts.

After the release of a first s/t EP (2023, digital+tape), GO MAHHH's sound has become heavier and more focused: motoric mantras in endless repetition, loud fuzz at the limit and interstellar grooves in absolute overdrive - with the debut album to be released later this year on NOISOLUTION, the band is further sharpening its hypnotic, driving psych-rock approach...

FOR FANS OF King Gizzard, Osees, Dungen, CAN, Altın Gün - FOR ENEMIES OF boring, unimaginative SHITE.

Here & today LIVE on stage at the loud #PsychRock #DoubleFeature with TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS!
