With over 3.5 million items and currently 1.5 million visits per year, the Berlin Central and Regional Library Foundation (ZLB) is the largest public library in Germany. Its two locations are the Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek (AGB) in Berlin-Kreuzberg and the Berliner Stadtbibliothek (BStB) in Berlin-Mitte.

In the Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek in Kreuzberg you will find the humanities and the "fine" arts, fiction, films, music and the Artothek. The children's and youth library with its learning center is also located here.
