For the first time, the magazine "Abwärts!" invites you to a colorful short film evening with readings and music. Including a world premiere! The program includes "Cut out" (Henning Rabe, 2026), "In Memory of Bert Papenfuß" (Tom Franke, 2023), "Bevor der Große Drache den Atem aushaucht" (Henning Rabe, 2023) and 5 short readings by Abwärts! authors.

Abwärts!" was founded in 2013 as the successor to "Sklaven" and "Gegner". The cadre of authors was originally made up of protagonists from the Prenzlauer Berg Connection around Bert Papenfuß and was dedicated to "contemporary art from a radical perspective". To this day, the periodical has retained its non-conformism and unruliness. It focuses on poetry, prose and defeatist commentaries on current affairs.
