"An all-round successful evening" is a cross-genre mixed show with the best. This year, award-winning stand-up comedy meets rousing music acts. For the second time in the Volkshaus, which is set to shake once again.

Robert Alan (Würzburg) was born in a bouncy castle. His mother is the big bang. His father is deaf. Robert Alan always wanted to be a comedian. He told his first jokes long before he could speak... but nobody understood them back then either. Nevertheless, today Robert Alan is a good-looking, extremely funny, incredibly charming, very modest entertainer who is not a fan of superlatives and has long since stopped writing his own press releases. I simply don't have the time for that.

Kawus Kalantar (Berlin) is an absolute stroke of luck for original comedy in Germany. He thinks of stand-up as an art form and never loses sight of the essentials: Funny first. Unpredictable, honest, direct. He is currently touring with his second program "Witzlebenstraße".

Sara Karas (Berlin) stands for charming, intelligent stand-up comedy that picks up the audience immediately. With sharp wit, honest naivety and a good dose of self-irony, she tells of the pitfalls of everyday life. She brings fresh perspectives to the stage, combines cross-generational themes and creates evenings to remember - because she is not only funny, but also: honest, accessible and full of heart.

Quichotte (Cologne) is a comedian, author and musician from Cologne. When he's not crouched on a corner stool at his favorite bakery, writing dialogues in his notebook, he's on stage. Performing is his thing. He interweaves stand-up, music and readings.

Emilia Suchlich (Jena / Oslo) impresses above all with her striking inconspicuousness, which she displays on stage without any shame. True to the old Thuringian saying "Every punchline lands out of the slipstream", she presents stories from her confusing life between trumpeter, comedian, being a woman and other socially unrecognized things.

Friedrich Herrmann (host) is one of the very few of his kind: a stand-up comedian from Thuringia. He has his roots in the poetry slam scene. He has been performing his texts and stories throughout the German-speaking world for over 10 years. He is the current winner of the Walter Dexel Prize of the city of Jena and host of the event series "gelungener Abend".
