Simply Quartet

The world-renowned Simply Quartet combines everything in its playing that promises a great future: gripping depth of expression, technical perfection and that shared breath with which the classics of the repertoire are interpreted in a dreamlike manner. This Chinese-Austrian-Norwegian quartet astounded the juries at the Vienna Haydn Competition and the string quartet competition in Bordeaux with its musical philosophy at an early stage. And their debut CD with works by Mendelssohn and Dvořák was immediately praised with top marks. How the Simply Quartet has internalized the famous Bohemian-Moravian melos is now demonstrated with Smetana's quartet "From My Life". But also Haydn's "Sun Quartet" No. 6 and Debussy's string quartet can only be described as: Simply brilliant!
