And she fulfilled her mother's order. The American journalist and writer Meyer Levin has turned the memoirs of Holocaust survivor Ida Löw (1924 - 1991) into a novel: The Story of Eva Korngold: Based on Notes by Ida Löw.

In the play version by Hans Schlicht, the novel becomes an evening of theater about the necessity of remembering and the will to live. To survive.
