»Glück gehabt!« Buchpremiere mit Franz Xaver Gernstl

"Gernstl unterwegs": Franz Xaver Gernstl traveled between the Danube, Sylt and the Matterhorn, in the USA, Holland and Italy for more than four decades for his "cult show"(SZ) on Bavarian radio, looking for adventure and above all: people. What do they dream of, what paths do they take? His films tell of these encounters, of dropouts and old-established people, of dreamers and loners, of high-flyers and down-to-earth people and of curiosity about the lives of others. In "Glück gehabt! Über das Unterwegssein, das Filmemachen und das Leben an sich" (Kösel Verlag), Gernstl looks back on these years on the road. At the premiere, he will read excerpts from his book, show film clips and talk about telling true stories.
