Guy-El Invites - A circle that connects

Guy-El Invites is a monthly format that combines art, community and the Kimuntu philosophy. The focus is on the circle: a space without a stage, without separation between musicians and audience. Everyone is on the same level and part of the same living moment.

On the last Saturday of every month at 8 pm, Guy-El invitesan artistto improvise together, share sounds and create an open musical dialog. Whether you sing along, play along, listen or simply feel the shared vibration - any form of participation is welcome.
It's not about performance, but about presence: about listening, feeling, sharing and a new togetherness.

For the April edition, Guy-El has invited Franzi Pschera & Band to be part of this open musical exchange.

Band biography - Franzi Pschera & Band

"Franzi Pschera & Band" from Augsburg not only share a common band history, but also a long-standing friendship. Franzi and her band members Johannes Frericks, David Mayer and Philipp Pschera got to know each other as children and enjoyed musical training together. Starting out as four drummers, they continued to develop individually, but their shared rhythmic roots still shape their songs to this day.

All four band members are now multi-instrumentalists and enrich the band's sound with instruments such as bass, trumpet, synthesizer, guitar, piano, drums and various percussion instruments. Their music always remains handmade, has become increasingly diverse over the years and can be described as "alternative acoustic pop".

Franzi's lyrics take center stage and are the source of inspiration for compositions with a surprising, varied sound that creates closeness and at the same time leaves room for depth.

Franzi founded her band in 2014, entering the studio and releasing the EP "Weitergehen" (2014) in the same year. In the years that followed, the four grew together as a band, learned more instruments and honed their own sound. In 2017, they were rewarded with the Young Talent Award as part of the Augsburg Band Contest "Band of the Year". "Was hält dich" (2019) bundled the experiences of the past years into an album full of depth and diversity and tells of growing up, of heartache and world-weariness.

Franzi Pschera & Band feel particularly at home live. In recent years, they have played numerous concerts and festivals in and around Augsburg, including the Modular Festival, where they have built up a loyal audience. In 2024, the band celebrated their tenth anniversary with their very own anniversary concert, the "10-Jahres-Sause". Friends and musical companions who have accompanied the band over the years were invited to listen, join in the celebrations and share the stage.

The special intimacy of the four, grown through years of making music and improvising together, as well as the interplay between the individuals characterize the band and make each concert a very special experience.
