Wolfgang Krebs, director of the Schlosstheater Thurnau since 2012, addresses his own diagnosis of Parkinson's in a play that gives hope.
In the role of Alfons, who suffers from Parkinson's, he plays alongside Claudia Kurrle in the role of the resigned and lonely Ruth. In the course of their encounters at a bus stop, the two discover that it is worth fighting to live the best life possible. In small steps, Alfons and Ruth regain their courage to face life. The two actors authentically portray the struggle, hope and confidence. They not only provide the audience with interesting facts about Parkinson's as a disease, but also encourage them to reflect on their own lives.
An encouraging, optimistic play that focuses on Parkinson's disease.
The play will be followed by an audience discussion.
