Mulo Francel & Tim Collins: How did we get here?

In the organizer's words:

The two extraordinary musicians got to know each other during numerous tours in Europe and the USA with Mulo Franco's band Quadro Nuevo.

According to the Washington Post, New York vibraphonist Tim Collins is a "fiery musician". Saxophonist Mulo Francel has won the ECHO and the German Jazz Award several times; Kulturnews has described him as having the "most sensual saxophone sound in Europe".

As a chamber music duo, they come together to play at the highest level: swinging jazz, romantic ballads and adventurous improvisations on original compositions that also incorporate elements of neo-classical and minimal music.

Together they released the album How did we get here? as a vinyl LP with deliberately unprocessed microphone signals for a particularly direct, natural listening experience.
